You’re an experienced embedded software engineer with exceptional programming skill and intuition. You want to help build the low-level software that’s at the core of our ground-breaking gesture control technology. You’ll work with our embedded software team to solve difficult problems, meet tight deadlines, and build awesome software. If you know microcontrollers like the back of your hand, and bitwise operations are second nature, then this job may be for you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing new features and capabilities for the MYO firmware
  • Optimizing existing code
  • Working closely with the electrical, machine intelligence, and other software teams to streamline the MYO experience

What you need:

  • Excellent coding skill in C
  • Knowledge of programming methods & paradigms specific to embedded systems
  • Experience designing & developing complex embedded software
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment

What would give you an advantage:

  • Technical understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy protocols (e.g. L2CAP, ATT, GATT)
  • Knowledge of / experience with ARM Cortex architecture & instruction sets
  • Experience doing low-level optimization in C/assembly
  • Experience with Git or other source code management system
