You’re a versatile and skilled designer with a passion for technology and start-up life. You have the rare combination of an excellent eye, impeccable taste, and strong technical abilities.  As a designer at Thalmic, you’ll work closely with our marketing team, web developers, product managers, and software engineers to craft beautiful user and product experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conceptualizing and executing designs for a variety of print and screen based media
  • Taking care of the little details - you’re happy to take care of the small projects as you gain experience and grow with the team
  • Designs for t-shirts, icons, print marketing materials etc.
  • Managing and coordinating production of marketing materials - you’ll take projects from concept to print
  • Other projects as they arise - commensurate with experience

What you need:

  • You’re skilled at creating line drawings and illustrations
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to effectively communicate design intent
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of photography and DSLR operation
  • Passion for internet, technology and wearable tech
  • Ability to learn quickly, stay organized and adapt to a fast moving environment

What will give you an advantage:

  • Strong portfolio of student work or client projects
  • Experience in professional photography or videography
  • A Dribbble or Behance profile
  • Previous startup experience (internship or otherwise)
